We were shopping at Macy’s and noticed that they had bath towels on sale. I hadn’t planned on buying towels, but they were half price and it was too good a deal to pass up. We spent several minutes touching the different towels and decided which ones were the softest. We found some really nice towels from their spa line and bought four of them. I can’t wait to get them laundered and then try them out after a nice hot bath.

Sonic Happy Hour

The Sonic drive up restaurants around here are a great place to stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner – any time of day and up until 1:00 am. So if you feel like breakfast at midnight, that’s still cool.
Now they are having a happy hour every afternoon. It has nothing to do with alcohol. They let you pay half price for drinks in the afternoon. That is good enough reason for a lot of people to stop by while they are out running errands or if they get off work early enough to get there while the special is going on.
Stoplight Party

My girlfriend was telling my about a stoplight party that he went to. It was on a boat up in Chicago, a cruise to nowhere kind of thing. The boat goes up the River, out onto Lake Michigan and then back to port about 3 hours later. The passengers are all college age kids who use it for a private party. The key thing to know is that the plastic solo cups are color coded. Red means they have a serious relationship already, yellow means they are careful and picky, and green means they are available and looking. That is really helpful for shy guys. Too bad all the clubs don’t use the color codes. It would save a lot of embarrassing moments.
